"The second instalment is payable during the month of August, since the deadline ends on a Sunday, you can now pay until September 1st, 2025," the Tax Authority revealed in a post shared on Facebook.
This means taxpayers have an extra day to pay this tax to the Tax Authority.
In the same publication, the Tax and Customs Authority (AT) reminds that, "if the tax amount payable is greater than 500 euros, three instalments are issued," with the second instalment due in August.
"You can also opt for direct debit payments to pay the second instalment of the IMI (Property Tax). You must complete the enrolment process, confirming account ownership, before August 15th," the Tax and Customs Authority further warns.
I can understand why the tax lovers in the EU use property taxes but unfortunately it is also used here in the US as a wealth tax, which is unconstitutional but yet still allowed. Unless used as source of rental or any other type of income, it is monstrous that property is taxed. Of course, the people could put a stop to all this nonsense but for some reason people in the EU are too infatuated with granting statist politicians whatever monies they demand. So you get what and who you vote for.
