Tivani was the strongest in the sprint at the end of the 162.3 kilometers from Viana do Castelo, which he completed in 3:56.04 hours, ahead of Spaniard Jesus Peña (AP Hotels&Resorts-Tavira-Farense), who finished second, and Australian Brady Gilmore (Israel Premier Tech Academy), who finished third, with the same time as the winner.
