This international-level competition will showcase some of the sport’s finest talent and incorporates the Open Emblezart 2025, a Class 10,000 tournament recognised by the Portuguese Padel Federation and part of the global Cupra FIP Tour circuit.
Bringing together many of the country’s top-ranked players, the event will feature an expanded format for the second consecutive year. Matches will be spread across three venues: LifePadel (with four outdoor and six indoor courts), Top Padel Guimarães (seven indoor courts), and the Central Court at Campo de São Mamede, a historic site that will host the tournament’s most high-profile clashes.
Entries are already open for the F1 and M1 categories under both the FIP and Portuguese Padel Federation framework for the Open Emblezart 2025.
Over the course of five days, spectators will be treated to a showcase of high-intensity competition, promising excitement for both seasoned fans and newcomers to the sport. With 18 courts spread across some of Guimarães’ most emblematic locations, the tournament not only strengthens the city’s status as a hub of national sport but also injects momentum into the local economy and sports tourism.
Padel itself is experiencing unprecedented growth in Portugal. At the start of 2025, the country counted more than 300,000 social players, over 1,300 courts in operation, and an estimated €60 million spent on bookings in 2023 alone. Against this backdrop, hosting the Guimarães Master Padel 2025 further cements the city’s standing on both the national and international stage, offering a unique spectacle where competition, tourism, and cultural heritage come together.
