The company will increase its overall investment from 30 to 45 million euros, "an increase in funding for the creation of four Gaming Hubs, with a view to strengthening the development of a creative video game industry with global export capacity”.

These new infrastructures will be possible following a reprogramming of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP).

The four new facilities will operate in a network system, with the largest being built in Funchal, the largest and most populous city in Madeira, where the eGames Lab is headquartered.

Lisbon, the Azores, and Évora will also be targeted for investment.

"The creation of these new 'Gaming Hubs' will provide Portugal with new technological infrastructures that will operate in an open ecosystem for the entire creative industries community, focusing on the creation of products, services, and solutions with high national and international commercial value".
