According to information from the Judicial Police (PJ), the citizens who died in the accident in Lisbon are five Portuguese, two South Koreans, one Swiss, three British, two Canadians, one Ukrainian, one American, and one French.
In a statement, the PJ said that the victims were scientifically identified with the collaboration of the National Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences.
Today, in a post on the social network X, the French foreign minister had already confirmed the death of a French citizen in the accident.

The health status of the nine people injured in the Glória funicular accident who are still hospitalised in the São José, Santa Maria, and São Francisco Xavier hospitals remained unchanged overnight, according to the health units contacted today by Lusa.
At São José Hospital, four people injured in Wednesday's accident, which caused 16 deaths and injuries to more than two dozen people, are also hospitalized.
Of the four hospitalized, one remains in the ICU and three are "under control."
At Santa Maria Hospital, two people remain, one in the ICU and the other in the emergency room observation unit, after the child in Paediatrics was discharged on Thursday.
Three patients remain hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit at São Francisco Xavier Hospital, in stable condition, according to a hospital source.
The accident injured 23 people.
