The event will feature several shows, DJ sets, a market, and sales of period and rockabilly-related items, among other activities, the organisers said in a press release.
Organised by the cultural association Boppin' Coimbra, the festival will feature Charlie Thompson and Junior Marvel, returning artists, as well as the Portuguese debut of Swedish band Eddie & The Flatheads, Dutch band The Western Stringbyrds, and French band Yann O'Fender.
The lineup also includes The Texabilly Rockets, "one of the oldest active Portuguese bands," he emphasised.
At the OMT, a space managed by the company O Teatrão, booths selling clothing, shoes, records, and other themed items will also be set up, and a photography exhibition will also be shown.
Before the festival, on Thursday, there will be a welcome party on the Basófias boat on the Mondego River, and a matinee is also planned for Saturday afternoon, featuring the Belgian combo Emma Mattucci & Band.
On Sunday, there will be a post-festival party with DJ sets.
