In a statement, Uber revealed that the service will allow students to save 10% of the cost of each trip in Uber One credits, whether using a TVDE, scooter, or electric bike, in addition to free delivery fees and up to 75% off service fees on Uber Eats.

Subscription to the service will be at "an affordable price of €29.99 per year (or €2.99 per month after four free weeks for new members), guaranteeing convenient travel at any time of the day or night."

In addition to these benefits, students will also have access to exclusive mobility campaigns and discounts at Uber Eats partner restaurants and retail brands, which can meet various academic needs, the platform states.

"We want to be by students' side during times of great change and challenge. Uber One for Students was created to give them more freedom, savings, time, and security, so they can focus on what really matters: studying and living the university experience to the fullest," said Francisco Meneses, General Manager of Uber Eats in Portugal, quoted in the statement.

Uber One, launched in Portugal in 2023, is Uber's subscription program that combines mobility and delivery, offering exclusive benefits to its members, including discounts on rides and deliveries, special offers, and priority access to unique experiences.
