Fuel prices will show different behaviour at the beginning of next week: diesel is expected to become slightly more expensive, while petrol is expected to see a price drop, according to forecasts released this Friday by the Automóvel Club de Portugal (ACP).
"If forecasts for next week are confirmed, the average price of regular diesel will be €1.567 and that of 95-grade petrol will be €1.703," says the ACP.
The price of a barrel of Brent for November delivery ended Thursday on the London futures market up 0.16% at US$69.42.
North Sea crude, the benchmark in Europe, closed trading on the Intercontinental Exchange 11 cents above the US$69.31 it closed at on Wednesday.
This is the third consecutive price increase, placing it at its highest levels since early August.
