The positions, with fixed-term contracts (but with no set date) and for the technical assistant category, are distributed across the North (24), Center (12), and Greater Lisbon (26) regions.
According to the notice published in the Official Gazette, the opening of the common competition to fill 24 positions in the North region is divided between six AIMA locations: Braga (1), Bragança (1), Espinho (2), Porto (14), Viana do Castelo (4), and Vila Real (2), according to a report by ECO.
In the Central region, the 12 jobs are distributed as follows: Aveiro (2); Figueira da Foz (2); Guarda (2); Leiria (3); and Viseu (3). In Greater Lisbon, the AIMA store in Agualva-Cacém has one opening, Alverca do Ribatejo and Queluz have two each, Barcarena and Cascais have four each, and Lisbon has the largest number of openings—13.
The recruitment "is open to workers with a previously established public employment contract for an indefinite period, with a fixed-term public employment contract, or without a public employment contract," the three notices published this Monday indicate, adding that the positions are intended to "perform customer service functions in AIMA's specific areas of activity, particularly in the area of documenting the residence of foreign citizens."
For technical assistant positions, the minimum academic qualifications required are a 12th grade diploma or equivalent, with no substitution of qualifications for professional training or experience.
The three competitions will be announced on the Public Employment Exchange (BEP) (www.bep.gov.pt), on the AIMA website (www.aima.gov.pt), and on the Public Employment portal (www.empregopublico.gov.pt).
Candidates have 20 business days to apply, starting the day after the full announcement is published in the BEP.
