Portugal's session is scheduled for 5 pm at the Cidade do Futebol in Oeiras. As usual, the first 15 minutes will be open to the media, a training session that already includes the absence of Rafael Leão, who was somewhat surprisingly dropped on Sunday due to injury.

Before training, at 4 pm, coach Roberto Martínez and a player yet to be named will speak to reporters in the press conference ahead of the match against Hungary.

On Saturday, the Portuguese team beat Ireland 1-0, with Rúben Neves scoring in stoppage time in the 90+1 minute, the midfielder's first ever international goal, on the day he made his 60th appearance.

Forward João Félix was absent due to injury in that match, while defender Gonçalo Inácio started but was forced off at halftime due to fitness issues. Therefore, both players are currently doubtful for the match against Hungary.

Portugal-Hungary is scheduled for 7:45 pm at the José Alvalade Stadium in Lisbon, and will be refereed by Serbian Srdjan Jovanovic.

Leaders

The Portuguese team leads Group F with nine points, five ahead of Hungary, now in second place, followed by Armenia with three, and Ireland with one.

A win over Hungary and a draw or loss for Armenia in Ireland guarantees Portugal its ninth World Cup finals appearance, and seventh in a row.

The group winner automatically secures a spot in the tournament, which will be held next year in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, and which will feature 48 teams for the first time. The runner-up will have to compete in the knockout rounds.
