The number of routes has reached ten and, according to the company, “more than 221,000 seats” will be available. The new route will also increase connectivity between the two countries by approximately 225%.

To celebrate the occasion, easyJet “donated almost 400kg of school supplies to students at the Paz e Amor School in Vila Nova, Praia.”

“At easyJet, our mission is to connect people and cultures, but we also want to be an active partner in the countries where we operate and contribute to tourism, the economy and, above all, the future of their people. This initiative, whose success is essentially due to our employees, is a direct contribution to the brilliant potential of every Cape Verdean child,” highlights Filipa Viegas dos Santos, Head of Human Resources at easyJet for Europe, quoted in the press release.
