Petrol is expected to rise by three cents, the most significant increase since April 1, 2024, and diesel, the most used fuel in Portugal, is expected to rise by half a cent, according to data from the ACP.

When you fill up, you should expect to pay €1.654 per litre of regular diesel and €1.736 per litre of regular 95 petrol, taking into account the average prices practiced at the pumps on Monday, as released by the Directorate-General for Energy and Geology (DGEG).

This week, diesel rose by two cents and petrol by 0.3 cents. The market had predicted an increase of 1.5 cents for diesel and half a cent for petrol.
