Tomás Melo Gouveia, 31, was the only player to win two titles on the circuit this season: the opening tournament, the Montebelo Golf Classic in Viseu, in which he defeated Pedro Lencart in a playoff, followed by another victory by 'sudden death', this time against Pedro Figueiredo at the Lisbon Masters, played in Sintra.

Throughout the season, Tomás Melo Gouveia also finished third in the VI Solverde Players Championship in Espinho, and third in the National Professional Championship in Troia, losing the 42nd Open Pro-Am at the Terceira Island Golf Club and coming in fourth at the Timestamp Golf Tour Final by PGA National, which took place in Aroeira, Almada.

"It was a very positive season on the circuit. I won two tournaments, I was almost always in the running for victory, the exception being this last tournament. I was the player with the most titles and finishing the circuit as the winner was even better. Winning a ranking is always good, wherever it is, and it motivates me. This circuit was very good for professionals to have competition," said Tomás Melo Gouveia.

Despite already being in full pre-season training for the 2026 European Golf Tour (the second European division), the Algarve native also has to compete in two Mena Tour tournaments (the professional circuit of the Middle East) over the next two weeks, at Aroeira-2 and the O’Connor Course at Amendoeira Golf Resort.

In second place was Vasco Alves, a player who still had a 12-meter putt on the last hole of the circuit, which, if successful, would have allowed him to be number one on the circuit, in a season in which, throughout the six events, nine of the top 10 Portuguese players in the world golf ranking participated, with the only absentee being Stephen Ferreira, who resides in Zimbabwe.

This year marked the first experience of co-organising a circuit between the FPG and the PGA Portugal.
