According to a report by Notícias ao Minuto, regarding Uber as a transport app, the company says that the longest trip in 2025 in Portugal was between Faro Airport and Matosinhos – a distance of approximately 600km.

July saw the highest number of trips worldwide, with Uber indicating that the most frequent destinations for Uber users “were associated with everyday commutes,” such as home-to-work, airports, restaurants and bars, shopping centres, tourist attractions, and healthcare facilities.

We then move on to Uber Eats and the orders are placed not only for restaurant food but also for supermarket products.

In 2025, the most ordered food in restaurants was the hamburger, while the most ordered product in the supermarket and retail sector was bread. Uber Eats continues to have its peak order volume between 7 pm and 9 pm, and November 29th saw the highest number of orders of the entire year due to Black Friday.

Regarding the most expensive order placed through Uber Eats, the company says it was for an iPhone 15 and a PlayStation 5 – totalling €1,400.
