Both diesel, the most used fuel in Portugal, and petrol should be three cents cheaper, according to data from the ACP. These drops help mitigate the impact of the change in fuel taxation.
When you fill up, you should expect to pay around €1.522 per litre of regular diesel and €1.649 per litre of regular 95 petrol, taking into account the average prices at the pumps on Monday, as released by the Directorate-General for Energy and Geology (DGEG).
Next week will be the fourth week of price drops for diesel, and the fifth for petrol, resulting in a cumulative drop of 11 and eight cents, respectively.
