According to the Jornal de Negócios, there are Portuguese companies, such as Silampos, that have hundreds of thousands of euros worth of goods to ship that cannot proceed due to logistical reasons.

The Middle East region accounts for about 10% of the company's exports, and an order worth approximately €500,000 is stuck in Portugal.
According to the company's CEO, the orders have not been cancelled, but are suspended due to difficulties experienced at the destination ports, namely in Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Iraq, and Qatar.
