Register Now for the Solidarity Walk and Run “Mama em Movimento”

The Algarve Biomedical Center (ABC) is thrilled to announce the 4th edition of the Solidarity Walk and Run “Mama em Movimento”, a partnership with Algarunners, MAR Shopping Algarve, the Associação de Oncologia do Algarve (AOA), and the Liga Portuguesa Contra o Cancro – Núcleo Regional do Sul.

The event will take place on October 25, 2025, at MAR Shopping Algarve, in Loulé, and will feature two routes accessible to all:

Walk – 6 km
Run/Trail – 10 km

More than just a sporting event, “Mama em Movimento” is an initiative to raise awareness about breast cancer. All proceeds will go towards AOA and LPCC-NRS, institutions that play a vital role in supporting cancer patients, promoting cancer prevention and research.

The organization reinforces that “this event is an invitation to the community to come together for a good cause, reinforcing the importance of prevention and support for those facing this disease”.
