According to People magazine, the company partnered with psychologist Natalie Dattilo-Ryan, who analyzed 47 destinations based on five factors: sunlight, sleep quality, healthy diet, nature, and exercise.

Lisbon came in first place. According to the study, the city boasts 10% of healthy restaurants with affordable options. Furthermore, it's easy to get from one place to another, and there are also plenty of green spaces and hours of sunshine.

"These are important factors to keep in mind when choosing a travel destination, as they help the body release happiness hormones such as serotonin, dopamine, endorphins, and oxytocin," reveals the psychologist.

"They influence everything from mood and sleep to energy and digestion. Many of the factors that trigger them, such as sunlight, transportation, food, and quality rest, are often part of a good vacation, if you choose the right destination," continues the expert.
