Organised by Friends in Business Algarve in collaboration with the Primary School of Ferragudo, the Junta de Freguesia, the local Church, and local community supporters, the event will bring together residents, entrepreneurs, and families for an afternoon filled with joy, music, Christmas carols, and community spirit.

A celebration of giving back

The event’s mission is simple yet powerful: to create a Christmas experience for Ferragudo’s children. Every donation, every helping hand, and every smile will help make the season bright for local families.

Sandra Westein, organiser and founder of Friends in Business Algarve, explains: “We wanted to bring the community together for something truly meaningful – to share warmth, laughter, and generosity with the children who make Ferragudo such a special place. This is our way of giving back.”

Luis Alberto, co-organiser and President of the Junta de Freguesia de Ferragudo, added: “Ferragudo has a big heart. This event is a chance for everyone – residents, businesses, and friends – to come together and do something beautiful for our children. I believe it will be the start of a wonderful tradition that will grow year after year.”

Local businesses, restaurants, and residents are invited to participate – whether through donations, sponsorships, or volunteering. Contributions can take many forms:

· Sponsoring gifts or decorations

· Offering food, snacks, or drinks during the event

· Providing vouchers, materials, or services

· Helping as a volunteer during the afternoon

Every contribution, big or small, will help create smiles and unforgettable memories for Ferragudo’s children.
