A total of 53 guests, a mix of Rotarians, local residents and friends from the wider international community, attended for a memorable evening of fun, friendship and community spirit.
Dinner featured a delicious suckling pig roast, complemented by vegetarian quiches, a variety of drinks, and a tempting selection of homemade cakes and tarts.
The entertainment for the evening consisted of lively interactive quizzes, where participants used their mobile phones to answer general knowledge questions. The organisers were particularly impressed by the foreign guests’ knowledge of Portuguese history and culture.
The event also had a charitable purpose, raising just over 1000 euros in support of RCEPI community projects, including the monthly donation of milk and food to the Faro Food Bank, whose food parcels are distributed by volunteers based at the Casa do Povo in Estoi.
The Club extends its heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended and contributed to the success of this special evening, where fellowship and service truly came together.
