This initiative brings together breeders, riders, and equestrian enthusiasts, featuring competitions and demonstrations.

"The Southern Equestrian Fair aims to provide visitors with a showcase of the Purebred Lusitano horse, presented by some of the best breeders in Portugal and Spain," highlighted the municipal body of the municipality of Albufeira, in the district of Faro.

The program also includes an Equestrian Gala, a Stud Farm Parade, Dressage, and Portuguese Riding competitions, according to the Junta de Ferreiras, which promotes the Southern Equestrian Fair in collaboration with the Albufeira City Council, the Portuguese Equestrian Federation, and the Portuguese Lusitano Horse Breeders Association.
