"Participation in one of Portugal's most important travel fairs is part of the destination's strategy to promote itself to the national public, the region's main source market for tourists," said Algarve Tourism.

With thousands of visitors expected and a strong presence of travel agents and tour operators, Expo Abreu represents "a privileged opportunity to showcase the diversity and quality of the Algarve's tourism offerings and strengthen the brand's reputation within the national landscape."

During the fair weekend – Saturday, from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, and Sunday, from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm – the Algarve stand, with an area of 18 square meters, will be a meeting point between the public and the destination, offering updated information on tourism products, getaway suggestions, and experiences that go far beyond the traditional sun and sea, including nature, culture, gastronomy, and active tourism.

"The domestic market is, and will continue to be, a priority for Algarve Tourism. Being present at the main winter travel fair is an excellent opportunity to strengthen this connection and show the Portuguese that the Algarve is an excellent destination at any time of year," emphasizes André Gomes, president of Algarve Tourism.

"We want to inspire new travel experiences and invite the public to discover an authentic, sustainable Algarve with unique experiences," he adds.
