Organised by the Municipality of Silves, the event will run every Thursday from 2 to 30 July, inviting visitors to enjoy sunset experiences inside one of the Algarve's most iconic landmarks.

The season opens on 2 July with Mirage People, a duo formed by Luís Caracinha (Alfaro) and Miguel Guerreiro (Echrum). According to the municipality, the performance blends electronic music with cinematic influences to create an immersive musical experience.

The programme continues throughout July with Vânia Rodrigues on 9 July, LD Miguel Trio on 16 July, Daniel Kemish on 23 July and Nanook Plays the Blues featuring Pedro Gil on 30 July.

The Municipality of Silves says the event aims to combine live music with the flavours of the region, highlighting local products such as Silves oranges and wines produced in the municipality. Visitors can also enjoy relaxing massages, dance performances and a fire show designed to create what the municipality describes as a memorable summer atmosphere.

Tickets are priced at €10, while residents of the municipality of Silves can purchase them for €5 when buying in advance and presenting proof of residence. According to the organisers, attendance is limited to 350 people, and visitors are encouraged to book early as previous editions have regularly sold out before the event.

The restaurant service is not included in the ticket price, while massages are available by prior registration on the day, subject to availability.

The Municipality of Silves describes Sunset Secrets as a celebration of culture, local flavours and the spirit of summer, all set against the unique backdrop of the historic Silves Castle at sunset.
