The first event begins on 8 July in Lagoa, with participants meeting at Largo do Auditório Carlos do Carmo. Every walk starts at 8:30 pm, giving people the opportunity to enjoy the cooler evening temperatures while discovering different parts of the municipality.

Each route covers approximately 5 kilometres, with participants also having the option to complete a second lap and extend the distance to around 10 kilometres.

Walkers and runners are encouraged to wear suitable sports clothing, bring a bottle of water and a mobile phone, and use a portable light or reflective clothing for extra visibility after dark.

Everyone who registers will receive an official event T-shirt, and only one registration is required to sign up for all of the Moonlight Walks they wish to attend throughout the summer.

The remaining events are scheduled for:

• 15 July – Praia do Carvoeiro (Largo da Praia)

• 22 July – Parchal (Estádio Municipal da Bela Vista)

• 29 July – Estômbar (Parque de Feiras e Exposições)

• 5 August – Ferragudo (Zona Ribeirinha Infante Santo)

• 12 August – Porches (Largo da Igreja da Nossa Senhora da Rocha)

Organised by the Municipality of Lagoa, the annual Moonlight Walks have become one of the Algarve's best-loved summer traditions, bringing together locals and visitors for an active evening outdoors while enjoying the unique atmosphere of the region after sunset.
