The event will take place at Estômbar Municipal Sports Ground, starting at 9am, with free entry for members of the public who wish to watch the matches and support the participating teams.

As reported by the organisers, ADR – CCS Quinta de S. Pedro is holding the tournament in partnership with RUTIS, with a focus on inclusion, physical activity and social participation.

Walking Football is a slower-paced version of traditional football in which players walk rather than run, making the sport more accessible while retaining the benefits of exercise, teamwork, and social interaction.

In addition to the matches, the initiative seeks to raise awareness of the sport across the Algarve and encourage people to stay physically active throughout their lives.

This tournament will also give participants an opportunity to meet, exchange experiences, and strengthen social connections through sport.
