In a statement, the promoter Everything is New recalled that Kevin Parker's project is experiencing a moment of particular popularity, following the release of the album "Deadbeat," with the singles "Loser" and "Dracula" in several international charts.
With multiple appearances in Portugal over the last decade, Tame Impala have already been part of the lineups of festivals such as Paredes de Coura in 2015, Alive itself the following year, and Primavera Sound in 2022.
This year, they performed at MEO Arena in Lisbon and Pavilhão Rosa Mota in Porto in April.
The NOS Alive festival will return to Passeio Marítimo de Algés, in the municipality of Oeiras, Lisbon district, on July 8, 9 and 10 next year.
In this year’s edition, more than 120 artists, bands, and authors performed at the venue, including Twenty One Pilots, Nick Cave, Foo Fighters, and Buraka Som Sistema.
