What is considered the "second largest event in the municipality of Albufeira" continues to assert itself through its size and strong public participation, and is held with the support of the Albufeira City Council.

In 2025, as indicated in a press release sent to The Portugal News, the White Night of Paderne "received around 35,000 visitors" during the nine hours of festivities held in the village.

During the festival, the village transforms "into a true stage of entertainment, music, gastronomy, crafts and conviviality." In the same statement, the organisation also expresses a desire to "surpass the numbers achieved last year's numbers" and welcome even more visitors on Paderne's most emblematic night.

The Aldeia Encatada – Noite Branca de Paderne will take place on 8 August, from 7 pm to 3 am. As expected, the dress code is white for a party said to be ready "to welcome all those who want to experience a special night, full of celebration, tradition and lots of fun."

The emblematic Paderne

Paderne is a small village in the municipality of Albufeira, with approximately 3,500 inhabitants, and is one of the oldest in the municipality.

Those who want to enjoy the party can wear white early and visit the village's heritage, including the famous Paderne Castle and the Paderne Parish Church.

Being a rural area, moments of peace are expected, surrounded by nature, making it possible to enjoy and appreciate the landscapes near the riverbanks, the famous Paderne Fountain, the Medieval Bridge and even its weirs.
