Titled “Day 1s,” the series stems from an original idea by sports agent Darren Dein and focuses on the journey of Stanley Dalton, a UK-based football agent.

British actor Damian Lewis, known for his work on hit series such as Band of Brothers, Homeland, and Billions, takes on the lead role.

Initial filming took place at the Barnet FC grounds in northwest London, with a cast featuring various public figures from the worlds of sports and culture, including Darren Dein himself, rapper Dave, and former French international Thierry Henry.

In addition to serving as an executive producer on the project through his production company, Cristiano Ronaldo will also appear in the series. Details regarding the character or the extent of the Portuguese footballer’s involvement in the storyline have not yet been revealed.
