W Algarve is turning up the volume with the launch of W BEAT, a new monthly music series bringing a rotating line-up of guest DJs to W Lounge.

Launching on 22 August 2026, the new series will see W Algarve welcome a different guest DJ each month for an evening of music, cocktails and high-energy sounds, adding another dimension to the resort’s growing programme of entertainment and nightlife.

Each edition of W BEAT will be curated by PIPPA, W Algarve’s Music Curator and resident DJ, who will handpick artists and sounds designed to reflect the energy of the resort while introducing guests to an evolving mix of established and emerging talent.

Music has long been embedded within the DNA of the W brand, and W BEAT brings that philosophy into a regular monthly residency at the Algarve property. Taking over W Lounge, the series is designed to create a social meeting point for hotel guests, Algarve residents and visitors alike, moving from early evening drinks into a livelier late-night atmosphere.

The inaugural W BEAT took place on Saturday, 22 August, with DJ Figueira behind the decks from 8:00pm until 11:30pm.

The series will return on Saturday, 19 September, when DJ Rick Offen takes over W Lounge from 8:00pm until 11:30pm, with further guest DJs set to be announced for the months ahead.

Entry to W BEAT is complimentary, opening the experience to hotel guests, locals and visitors looking to experience W Algarve’s music and nightlife offering.

The launch further strengthens W Algarve’s entertainment programme, complementing the resort’s existing calendar of live music, DJ sets and events across its bars and social spaces.
