Lisbon’s most iconic riverside square is currently turning into a massive open-air stage: the Festa na Praça Continente, which is taking over the Praça do Comércio.

On 12 September 2026, this free-admission event runs from 11:00 to 22:00, offering an energetic celebration of food, culture, music and community.

The bustling venue brings together diverse culinary pop-ups, a dedicated children's zone, and an exclusive wine market. Beyond the rich gastronomic experiences, the day features a stellar lineup of live entertainment.

Music lovers can enjoy sets by Kiko is Hot and the band Napa, alongside vibrant rhythms from the Viva o Samba collective. The grand finale of the mega-event features an emotional open-air performance by legendary fado icon Mariza starting at 20:00.
