The expansion lets the retail chain reach new locations and consolidate its national network, three years after entering the Portuguese market.
In this sense, a store will open in Paços de Ferreira in September, with 560 square metres. In Alentejo, a store will open in Évora Plaza on 29 September. Santarém and Almada will receive their new stores starting on 30 September. The new Almada store will be located in Aroeira Retail Park.
With the opening of these new stores, Pepco arrives for the first time in Paços de Ferreira, Santarém and Almada, continuing to strengthen its presence in Alentejo, where it already has a store in Elvas.
The four new stores cover 2081 square metres and should create 20 jobs, bringing the company's employee count in Portugal to 300.
