Rather than remaining confined to traditional academic circles, this summit transforms Siza Vieira’s monumental modernist structure into an expansive forum connecting fundamental biomedical research with the broader society.

The first two days bring together leading minds in fundamental and applied sciences, alongside thinkers from public health, engineering, and the social sciences, to tackle deep-seated questions surrounding microbial worlds.
