Just 7.5 hours from the Algarve to the US with no connections, which honestly makes the journey feel much easier. In economy, you get your own entertainment screen, a power outlet at your seat and the option to purchase Wi-Fi if you want to stay online.
The crew offered three meal choices, followed by two snack services, and you also get a blanket and pillow to make the flight a little more comfortable. Everything ran smoothly on my trip; boarding was straightforward, and the journey felt surprisingly relaxed.

For anyone heading between Portugal and the US, it’s a really convenient direct route and one I’d happily take again. Have you flown this service yet? Let me know what you thought.

Yep! Been flying it 4-6x for two seasons now. So nice to go straight and avoid the drive and size of Lisbon. But the immigration wait times have been horrible at times at Faro.
United's economy offers more leg room than TAP or Euro carriers, as wheel. I fly enough for free Economy Plus and can pre book an exit row, which makes it better, and always put in for an upgrade, which my wife and have been lucky to get about 80% of the time.
Sadly being seasonal, we shift to Lisbon before May 15 or after September 15, but big thanks to United for this route, which is always always full.
