Tests confirmed that the system remained stable for more than 24 hours without intervention, opening up new possibilities for increasingly precise scientific measurements and future technological applications across a range of fields.

The nuclear clock achieves an accuracy equivalent to losing approximately one second every 30 million years. Unlike conventional atomic clocks, it uses atomic nuclei, which are less sensitive to external disturbances.
Although the prototype has not yet surpassed the world’s most precise atomic clocks, researchers plan to improve its performance using stronger lasers and enhanced thorium crystals.
