ABLE (Algarve Blue Light Emergency) provides compassionate help for animals in the Algarve that are injured, abandoned, or suddenly taken ill, to cover initial emergency veterinary costs, so no animal is left suffering because someone cannot afford treatment in the Moncarapacho and surrounding area.

Support for Families: The dedicated team is made up of Su Davis and her husband Mike, together with Lucy Mason and other friends who are willing to help when needed. They keep in touch with the local community and provide help wherever they can.

APAA (Association for Protection of Animals Algarve) offers support and help to all animal charities and associations specialising in SNiP (Spaying & Neutering Programme) to reduce the growing size of feral cats and help with abandoned dogs.
