The Global Exploration Summit, known simply as GLEX, brings together the world's most daring minds and leading explorers to answer that very question. It brings together legendary astronauts and deep-sea aquanauts, elite polar explorers, and storm chasers. It is a gathering where cutting-edge technology meets raw human curiosity.

It is co-organised with The Explorers Club and taking place this year in the historic Portuguese city of Coimbra. GLEX creates a space for groundbreaking conversations that push the boundaries of what we thought was possible. Speakers share stories of spending weeks underwater, orbiting high above our atmosphere, and navigating the most extreme environments on earth. Yet beyond the adventure and high-tech innovation, the summit carries a deeper purpose. Focused heavily on sustainability and protecting our planet for the future.
