In the Lisbon consular district (which had by far the largest number of eligible voters), the PT candidate received 60.10% of the valid votes (19,420) compared to Bolsonaro's 12,894 (39.90%). The data from the TSE shows the same pattern in Porto, with Lula da Silva taking 60.13% of the valid votes (13,435) to Bolsonaro's 8,910.

On the other hand, the Brazilian community in the south of the country won Flávio Bolsonaro in the Faro consular district. The senator got 1,629 votes in the Algarve (52.67% of the valid votes) to Lula da Silva's 1,464 (47.33%).

The same geographical pattern was evident in the 4th October vote—on that day Lula da Silva had already won in Lisbon with 53.51% of the vote (14,948 to 37.76% for the other candidate) and in Porto with 10,356 votes (against 7,559 for the former president's son) whilst Flávio Bolsonaro had won in Faro with 48.88% of the vote (1,305 to 1,097 for Lula). It was an electorate of over 134,000 registered and eligible Brazilian voters.
