Building construction increased by 1.1%, an annual rate 0.6 p.p. lower than that recorded in April, while civil engineering went from a growth of 2.6% in the previous month to 2.9% in the month under analysis.

The employment index slowed by 0.4 p.p. in July, to an annual growth of 1.7%.

In turn, the remuneration index accelerated by 0.2 p.p., to 8.5%.

The monthly variation of the employment index was 0.2%, while that of remuneration was 1.1% - compared to growth of 0.6% and 1%, respectively, in the same month last year.
