The boat holds only 28 people, so free spots are limited, and demand is high for those who want to cruise along the Coina River.

According to information released by the municipality, the free trip will take place on 19 September, at three different times: 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm. Each trip lasts one hour and starts at Pontão Santos, passing along the Coina River. The free trip is part of the European Mobility Week. The organisation also says that only children aged six and older can board.

On the same day, there are also other paid options. Between 9:30am and 12pm, the same boat will connect Barreiro and Ilha do Rato, with onboard tastings. The price for adults is €20, and for children between six and 12 years old it costs €4.50. The experience will include wine, snacks, and local partners.
