The concert will take place on 26 September at 7pm at the historic Teatro Lethes, following Humm’s first performance in Portugal in 2025.

The event is being organised by Rotary Club Estoi Palace International.

Renowned composers

Humm will perform alongside pianist Doriana Tchakarova, with the programme featuring works by renowned composers including Jules Massenet, Richard Wagner, Antonín Dvořák and Richard Strauss.

The evening will also include a special appearance by Algarve choir Ossonoba, conducted by Nuno Sequeira Rodrigues, with organisers promising several surprises during the performance.

As reported by NiT, Humm has built an international career performing at major European venues, including Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Teatro dell’Opera di Roma and Theater an der Wien.

His return to Faro follows his 2025 Portuguese debut. The original concert was due to take place at Teatro Lethes but was moved to the University of Algarve’s auditorium after storm damage affected the theatre.

Local community

This event will also raise money for Rotary Club Estoi Palace International’s educational and social initiatives supporting the local community.

Among the projects benefiting from the proceeds is the construction of a 24-hour children’s reception centre.

After the concert, guests will be invited to a reception featuring a selection of wines, providing an opportunity to socialise and meet the artist.

Tickets cost €35, including the wine tasting, and are available at Teatro Lethes and through the BOL ticketing platform.
