The joint services operated by Air France, KLM and Transavia will serve 24 routes with up to 238 weekly flights, offering links from Lisbon, Porto, Faro, Funchal and Ponta Delgada to destinations in France, the Netherlands and Belgium.

A major feature of the schedule is the improved service between Porto and Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport, since Air France has doubled the number of flights on this route and keeps an aircraft in Porto overnight so that early-morning departures can take place.

At the same time, the low-cost subsidiary Transavia will start up a new service between Porto and Brussels on 14 December, with three flights per week. Regarding destinations, Funchal sees the greatest growth in seat capacity, with an increase of 35 per cent, then comes Porto (19 per cent), followed by Faro (11 per cent) and Lisbon (4 per cent).

The strategy of the group also involves renewing the fleets used for domestic services, particularly by increasing the use of Airbus A220, A320neo and A321neo aircraft on the routes connecting Lisbon and Porto with the French and Dutch capitals. Moreover, thanks to the codeshare agreement with Delta Air Lines, year-round non-stop flights will continue to be operated between Lisbon and the North American cities of New York and Boston, as well as a shared seasonal route between Porto and JFK Airport.
