According to the list of nominees for the 27th Latin Grammy Awards, the Portuguese group Karetus has also received a nomination in the Best Short Form Music Video category for the song “Moleirinha”, directed by Gonçalo Pereira, which features collaborations with Conan Osíris, Júlio Pereira, and Isabel Silvestre com Vozes de Manhouce.
Carminho has received two Latin Grammy nominations: one in her own right for the album “Eu Vou Morrer de Amor ou Resistir” and another for a duet with Spanish singer Rosalía.
The song “Memória”, inspired by traditional fado and performed in both Portuguese and Spanish as a duet with Rosalía for the Catalan artist’s album Lux, is among the nominees for Best Portuguese Language Song.
Carminho is nominated for Best Portuguese Language Roots Music Album for her latest record, “Eu Vou Morrer de Amor ou Resistir”, released in late 2025.
Dino D’Santiago also holds two nominations, stemming from a project that brought him together with Brazilian artists Criolo and Amaro Freitas.
The song “No vento de nós” is nominated for Best Portuguese Language Song, and the debut album from this Portuguese-Brazilian project, titled “Criolo, Amaro & Dino”, is competing for the Latin Grammy for Best Brazilian Popular Music/Afro-Portuguese-Brazilian Music Album.
